Event Report 2013-14 June
MONTH - JUNE
Patwari Exam-2013
DPS Udaipur has been surging ahead enthusiastically in
extending a helping hand to the administration in conducting various
competitive and entrance examination. The school was the centre for Patwari
Exam 2013 on 29th June 2013. The exam was smoothly conducted from
2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Father’s Day
On the 30th of June 2013; with great pomp
and show, the Prep Kids celebrated Father’s Day in School. The Sunday was
chosen to facilitate the presence of the Fathers for the event.
The Pre Primary area was adorned with Slogans and
banners to compliment God’s valuable gift to children: Dads. With the help of
the teachers, kids made attractive cards for their fathers.
The Celebration began with chanting of the Gayatri
Mantra followed by a Yoga session. The most touching moments of the day were
the ones when the kids touched the feet of their fathers, gave them their cards
and said ‘I love you Papa’ with a big hug!
After this a Phonics Class and a Dance Class were organized
for the papas with their kids so they get to know what their little ones do in school.
Towards the end, Clay Modelling session was conducted by
our Clay modeling instructor where the dads as well as the kids tried their
hands at making little pots or diyas at the potter’s wheel. The event
culminated on a merry note when the dads received ‘The Best Dad’ trophy from
their own child.
While departing, the fathers thanked the Principal and
the teachers for making the day so special for them and some of them even added
that the day was like a flashback for them and they were as happy as if they
were kids once again.
