percent of the parents came to meet the teachers. This was an opportune time
for the parents & teachers to interact and discuss the progress of the
students, as the first term was almost over and SA-I to commence. Parents were
generally satisfied with a few minor worries and queries which were addressed
to and removed.
·
Class I parents
expressed their concern over the EVS syllabus as they and their wards find it
difficult to come to terms with it. The main problem cited was- compared to

to learn so many new words, names etc.
·
For Classes III
& IV too the parents felt a little overwhelmed with the EVS syllabus. Class
IV parents felt the English syllabus too was quite challenging as they had two
books & Grammar to do. Class IV parents were quite worried regarding the
Preparatory Test, to be held prior to the SA- I, as within a short time the
students were required to prepare for two exams.
(This particular issue was dealt with by
the Principal then itself and the parents were convinced that the students will
not be marked for the Preparatory Test.)

queries regarding the paper & exam pattern.
